NDAG MediReach - where it matter's most

In keeping with NDAG's objective regarding promoting the health and wellbeing of Nigerians, and indeed communities in the subcontinent; in collaboration with our partners, we are convening our second medical outreach event in the North of Nigeria.

Such projects require funds and for this reason NDAG would naturally seek support from its friends and good-spirited colleagues for this and similar projects we shall embark upon the coming months. Though we are minded to actively encourage Nigerians to be part of the forth coming elections, out objectives certainly is far reaching and would continue beyond the immediate sensitization efforts.

Remarkably, there are indications many are minded to support such projects which we hope to extend to encompass Food Banks, Water supplies and Small loans for Startups.  

Regarding the MediReach projects we understand the need for access to primary health care resources hence our Medical team comprises frontline team of doctors, nurses, community support workers and resource persons who are all volunteers with a shared mission.

From all indication, and going by our earlier event in October, we anticipate a significant turnout. We would like to be in a position where no one who attends leaves without some form of support or assistance. At the minimum, a diagnosis and sign posting to appropriate care.

Unfortunately given the perenial lack of access to good and affordable healthcare, there will always be a need. In sensitizing citizens to actively participate in the process of change, we hope Nigeria and neighbouring countries will develop systems and processes that will address basic needs especially now when all indices indicate a nation in crisis.

NDAG in collaboration with its partners recently also supported flood victims in Delta state. We anticipate we would continue to channel our energies and resources towards such grassroot support and development over the coming years.
